Our Story
We are a group of Christian homeschooling families who gather every second Friday of the month for a barn dance.
The Family Dance Club was originally founded by the Ruckel family on July 10, 2020, beginning with just a few families. The Ruckels wanted to revive an old American tradition of wholesome, family-friendly gatherings. On October 11, 2024, they passed the leadership to the Quinn family, who renamed it the Christian Family Barn Dance Club. Luke Quinn stepped in as both the caller and director, with Chloe Quinn assisting as a caller. The Quinn family saw this as a wonderful opportunity to continue this ministry, offering a space for fellowship, memory-making, and joyful old-style barn dances in a supportive Christian community.
We are deeply grateful to Believers Church in Leander for allowing us to use their facilities over the past three years. As we begin this new chapter, we are equally thankful to WC Cowboy Church in Liberty Hill for becoming our new host and graciously supporting this ministry.
